Modeller’s rasps are specialized versions of Auriou’sCabinet Rasps. Like Cabinet Rasps, modeller’s rasps are flat on one side and convex on the other side and tapered towards the tip. Modeller’s rasps are designed for precision work. They are narrower, thinner and finer-grained that their big brothers. Modeller’s rasp blades are shaped to a tolerance of ±0.1 mm (0.004″).
