Festool 80mm Polishing Sponges

Polishing sponges are used to apply polishing compounds . The 80mm sponges are used on the Rotex RO 90 FEQ Multi-Purpose Sander . Polishing with the RO 90 requires the 75mm RO 90 Polishing Pad .

The pads are color-coded to match with the appropriate polishing compounds. This ensures that you use a matched sponge and compound AND that you don’t mix compounds on one pad.

Sponge types

All of Festool 80mm polishing sponges are 20mm (3/4″) thick. All are sold in packs of 5.

• PS STF D80x20 OR – Orange— Orange (medium) sponges are used with MPA 5010 compound.

PS STF D80x20 BL – Blue — Blue (medium-fine) sponges are used with MPA 9010 compound.
