Festool Surface Control Light STL 450

Any time you’re trying to create a really smooth surface, you need to check it with a bright, raking light to see the imperfections. The Festool STL 450 Surface Control light provides 1500 lumens of 5000K light in a long narrow package. It’s great for checking drywall or meticulously polished table tops.

It is sealed (IP 55) to protect against dust and moisture so it will stand up to the rigors of the toughest jobsite. It comes with a carrying case and the 5M (16.4 foot) cord wraps around the body of the light for quick, convenient storage.

Options

Festool offers a tripod and mounting adapter .If you’re using the light on your workbench, the light will probably be sufficient by itself. If you’re checking vertical surfaces – like drywall seams and painted walls – you’ll probably want the tripod.
