Festool TID 18 Cordless Impact Driver

This is the Impact Driver that Festool fans have been requesting for years! The TID 18 is light, compact and maneuverable. It will make quick work of most screws and it uses standard 1/4″ hex drive bits. The EC Tec motor is brushless for better control and longer life.

The TID 18 has 1593in-lbs of torque in three speed ranges and the special T-mode setting. T-mode is designed for applications where driving through a hard material into a soft material is required. For instance, when driving a self-tapping screw through aluminum sheet into a wood backer with T-mode active, the TID will start at 3200 rpm and drop to 750 rpm when it detects that it has broken through the aluminum.This makes it an especially useful tool for HVAC duct work.
