Flat carbide flutes with sharp knife-edged spurs do all the work of first scoring the surface and then removing waste with typical Forstner cleanness and precision; the rim of the bit is relieved of cutting function, serving to maintain accuracy and guide the bit in overlapping holes and the other functions special to the type.

All bits are 3-7/16″ to 3-1/2″ long. 1/4″ bit has a 5/32″ shank. 3/8″ bit has a 1/4″ shank. 1/2″ and 5/8″ bits have 5/16″ shanks. Bits 3/4″ and larger have 3/8″ shanks.

Set of 7 includes:1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″, 1″, and 1-3/8″.
