GlideCote (formerly called TopCote) is Bostik’s high-tech, teflon-like spray applied coating for cast-iron metal table tops and surfaces. It contains no oils or silicones, won’t stain wood and will not cause fish-eyes or other finishing problems. GlideCote works by penetrating into every pore of an iron surface, leaving a dry, micro-thin coating to seal out water vapor. Along with sealing surfaces against corrosion it also lowers friction dramatically, making stock handling easier & safer on every machine.
