The beautiful Lie-Nielsen Low Angle Adjustable-Mouth Block Plane has a large bronze cap iron that fits the hand perfectly. The adjustable throat can be set to a wide opening for heavy work, or barely as wide as a shaving for the most controlled finish cuts. Bed angle is 12 degrees on the Low Angle plane, 20 degrees on the standard. Irons are 1-3/8″ wide by 1/8″ thick; bodies are 6-1/4″ long and are made of unbreakable ductile iron.
