Narex Drawknife

Narex Drawknives are used for shaping large work pieces and removing bark from logs. The blades are forged from chrome steel and hardened to Rc 55. The blades are 5/32″(4mm) thick by 1-9/16″ wide(40mm) and offset about 3/4″(20mm) from the handles. The listed drawknife size is the length of the cutting edge.

Curved Drawknife blades are slightly curved from end-to-end and have a convex cutting edge. The handles are 3-3/8″(85mm) long. Overall length of the tool is about 9-1/2″ longer than the cutting edge.

Straight Drawknife blades are straight end-to-end and along the cutting edge. The handles are 4″ (120mm) long. Overall length of the tool is about 8″ longer than the cutting edge.

Each drawknife comes with a leather protective sheath.Honing required before use.
