ProSand Sheets are Norton’s improved version of their popular 3X sandpaper.It uses hardened aluminum oxide abrasive to insure fast cutting and long life. The heavy, fiber-reinforced paper is strong, yet flexible, and holds the abrasive grains much better than conventional sandpaper. ProSand paper uses a water-basedstearate prevents clogging without impacting the final finish.

ProSand sheets are P graded (FEPA), 9″ x 11″.

Assortment 5 pack includes one sheet each of 60, 80, 100, 150 & 220 grit.

We learned about Norton’s 3X sanding sheets from our wood turning customers who’ve been raving about its performance. 3X sheets feature a tightly graded, heat-treated, aluminum oxide abrasive that lasts longer and cutsfaster than conventional paper.With just hand sanding, we were able to remove planer marks from ourbenchtop planer in cherry using only 220 grit!A fiber reinforced paper resists tearing yet remains flexible for folding. It contours beautifully without losing grit making it excellent for sanding bowls, goblets and spindles.

3X’s waterbased, stearated coating prevents clogging when sanding finishes and resinous woods. In our tests, we found it did not cause finishcontamination or wood discoloration. So, it’s safe for use on any raw wood or finish, including waterborne finishes if all dust is removed.
