Skip Tooth blades are the standard choice for extremely smooth cutting in any wood.They can cut mild brass, aluminum, silver and copper.

Double Tooth blades cut almost as cleanly but allow faster rates, especially in thick stock.

Reverse-Tooth blades, with a few up-cutting teeth on the bottom, can solve tearout problems in very brittle wood.
