Radzi Varikant Veneer Cutter

The Radzi Varikant Edge Trimming Plane is used to trim and bevel the edges of wood veneer or pvc edgebanding on straight or curved edges. The HSS 3mm (1/8″) thick blade slices through both materials easily. The blade has two cutting edges and the plane can cut pushing or pulling. Only 1/3 of the blade is exposed at a time so you can re-position to a sharp edge twice before sharpening or replacement is required.

If you’re just trimming, set the guide fence to 90° for a flush trim.If you’re also bevelling, the fence adjusts from 90° to 45°.
