Record Power SC4 Professional Geared Scroll Chuck

The Record Power SC4 Chuck Package is a good chuck for the intermediate to advanced woodturner. It securely holds large workpieces despite its small size. The SC4 has a fully enclosed back with built-it indexing plate. The jaws adjust with a large ball-end hex wrench.

The SC4 chuck comes with the most popular size jaws, a faceplate ring and a woodworm screw for mounting your workpieces. It’s packed in a fitted plastic case.

• Ball-end Hex key
• Woodworm Screw – mounts in the jaws of the chuck converting it into a screw chuck with exceptional holding power.
• 50 mm (2″) Standard Jaws – the most commonly used jaws size. External Gripping Capacity: 1-3/4″ – 2-1/2″. Internal Gripping Capacity: 2″ – 2-3/4″.
• 50 mm (2″) Faceplate Ring – The faceplate ring is screwed to the workpiece similar to a faceplate, but can be gripped by the SC4 chuck using the 50 mm standard jaws
• Fitted plastic case

For all spindle sizes, a threaded insert is REQUIRED to adapt the chuck to fit your lathe.
