Sjöbergs Bench Holdfast

Holdfasts are great for clamping large workpieces to your workbench. Sjöbergs offers a few great holdfasts to fit their benches.

The 3/4″ holdfast fits Sjöbergs Scandi Plus , Nordic Plus , Duo , Junior , Senior & Minor workbenches. You drop it into a dog hole, press it tight against the workpiece and tighten the clamping screw. It works like a traditional holdfast, but with an added screw clamp.

Unlike traditional holdfasts, Deluxe Holdfasts fit tightly into a workbench dog hole.The post stays at approximately 90° to the workbench surface and clamp straight down on your workpiece. The large clamping surface has a protective plastic pad to prevent marring the workpiece. Deluxe holdfasts are available in 3/4″ to fit a variety of workbenches (see above) as well as the Smart Workstation Pro and a 1″ size to fit Sjöbergs Elite Workbenches.

3/4″ standard and deluxe holdfasts fit into a 3/4″ hole. The 1″ deluxe holdfast fits into a 1″ hole.
