Narex’s awls are made from chrome-vanadium steel and have stained beech handles.The overall length is 164mm (6-/16″). The shafts are 6mm (1/4″) x 100mm (3-15/16″)

The round awl blade is round from end to end. It tapers over the last 1-1/2″ and is sharpened to a point.

The square awl blade is a round shaft that is ground to a square taper over the last 2″ and is sharpened to a point.

Attractive wood handled tool with 5″ tapered slim blade is very useful during layout work in joint-making. Also useful for starting holes for small screws or brads.
