Starrett No. 47 Universal Bevel

The Starrett Universal Bevel has straight and offset slots in the blade. With the straight slot in the stock, it can be set to a range of angles that is impossible with ordinary bevels. The head of the clamping bolt is recessed into the stock so that it can lay flat on top of a plan or master. Then, you can transfer the angle to you workpiece. In combination with the Starrett #193 Steel Protractor , it can also measure angles with ease.

The blade is 6″ (150mm) long and the stock is 3-1/2″ (90mm) long. Both are 3/4″; (19 mm) wide.
