Veritas Surface Clamp

Veritas Surface Clamps are small bench hold-downs, just the thing for holding the loose end of a long board to a bench skirt or a board jack. They’ll fit anywhere you can drill a 3/4″ hole. Works in a minimum 1-3/8″ deep blind hole or a through hole as thin as 5/8″, depending on the material strength. Once in the hole, a turn of a knob wedges the post in tight. Their compact size makes them ideal for use on drill press auxiliary tables and sliding table saw jigs. Made from steel, brass and aluminum. Maximum opening is 3-3/4″ thick with a throat depth of 2-1/8″.
